Turkey Bowl was held at Arrowhead Park on November 25 from 7:30am until 5pm. Turkey Bowl is an annual flag football tournament to bring Korean Christian communities together in a friendly flag football match between high school students. Seven Korean churches participated in the Turkey Bowl this year and while our church was the only Catholic Church in the tournament, it was a great experience for all the students to build fellowship with their Korean-American brothers and sisters in Christ.

35 CYO students competed in the tournament and showcased their athleticism and skills throughout the tournament. All the hard work that the students and coaches put in for the past several months really showed this day.

The students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, perseverance, and love for one another. This tournament couldn’t have been successful without the support from CYO teachers/coaches, parents, and most importantly Fr. Kim and Fr. Lee. This tournament was a great example of how strong our Korean Catholic community is and the loving relationship between the students, parents, and teachers.
